Welcome to the Living Springs Christian Fellowship (LSCF) web site. What a joy it is for Sonja and I to introduce you to our church. You’ll discover that our passion is to provide a place where people just like you can have a life-changing experience with our Lord Jesus Christ. At LSCF, our doors are always open to people regardless of race or nationality. Our goal is to infuse spiritual nourishment and God’s love into people and families through engaging and powerful worship services that offer biblical truth in relevant and practical ways. What people usually notice first is the wonderful hospitality offered upon walking through the doors of our church. LSCF is a church that encourages and develops authentic and enduring relationships with others. You’ll be happy to know that there are various groups in our congregation that will help to cultivate healthy relationships. Through the leadership and vision of Bishop John R. Schol, Episcopal Leader of the Baltimore-Washington Conference of the United Methodist Church, we are striving to become an “Acts 2 Congregation.” The Bible declares that the first church engaged in rich fellowship, Bible Teaching, sharing Holy Communion with one another and most of all, carrying our Lord’s Great Commission to make disciples throughout the community and the world (Matthew 28: 19). At LSCF we realize that we’re living in challenging times. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we’re trying to create an environment where there is relevant teaching for everyone, spiritual heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer and compassionate care for those in need of God’s divine touch. In fact, we’re moving on to perfection by becoming a congregation where Christianity is contagious and the influence of our witness is felt in the community one soul at a time. Whether you’re a spiritual seeker who’s just starting to ask questions about God or a committed Christian who want to sink his/her roots of faith even deeper, you’re come to the right place—LSCF, where God’s Kingdom Agenda is being lived. Finally, First Lady Sonja and I are praying that the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit will continue to bless and keep you as you make LSCF your church—by the way, “Welcome Home!!”
God Bless you, Rev. William E. Butler Pastor
